Ingredients of Crockpot Sausage and Potatoes

  1. You need 1.5 lbs of smoked pork sausage, sliced.
  2. Prepare 2.5 lbs of russet potatoes peeled and cubed (I use washed red skin).
  3. It's 1 of large onion sliced.
  4. Prepare 1 (10 oz) of can cream of mushroom soup.
  5. It's 3/4 tsp of creole seasoning.

Turkey sausage, kielbasa or anything of the sort. We prefer the uncured pork sausage, but that's our personal preference. Add potato / sausage mixture to Crock Pot and cover with lid. Stir one last time just before serving, and top with optional Green Onions.

  1. Spray crockpot with cooking spray unless you use a liner* Place all ingredients in crockpot. Stir. Cook on low for 7 to 8 hours. *Use a slow cooker liner for easy clean up!.

In a separate bowl, combine cream of chicken, milk, sour cream, salt and pepper. Add the sliced sausage, potatoes, and onions to the slow cooker and stir well to coat with the sauce. In a slow cooker, add the smoked sausage, potatoes, onion, garlic, chicken stock, Worcestershire sauce, and parsley. Mix the cornstarch with the water until smooth. Stir into the slow cooker along with the heavy cream.
