Rum Waffle. Since Valentine's Day falls on a Friday this year, I think we should celebrate all weekend by making lots of desserts for two! But, I'm slightly biased in that opinion.. Women!: make your man this French toast that you cook in a waffle.

Ingredients of Rum Waffle

  1. Prepare 3 cups of flour.
  2. It's 2 cups of sugar.
  3. It's 3 teaspoon of rum extract.
  4. It's 3 of eggs.
  5. Prepare 1 of tespoon baking soda.
  6. Prepare 1 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder.
  7. Prepare 2 tablespoon of butter.
  8. It's 1 teaspoon of cream of tatar.
  9. It's 2 cups of water.
  10. Prepare 1 teaspoon of water.
  11. It's 1/3 cup of oil.

Add brown sugar and rum, and whisk until the sugar is dissolved. Make the waffles according to your waffle iron's instructions. Remove the cooked waffle and place on a baking sheet without stacking. Place in the oven to keep warm.

  1. In a medium size bowl add the 2 cups water and 2 cups sugar and mix it using a spoon for 5minutes..
  2. In a small bowl add the 3 eggs,2 tablespoon butter, 1/3 cup oil and the1 teaspoon water and mix it using a mixer in medium for 5minutes..
  3. Add sugar mixture and the egg mixture in a large bowl and mix it again using a mixer mix it for 5 minutes..
  4. After it mix add 3 cups flour, 1 teaspoon cream of tartar,1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder,1 teaspoon baking soda, and the 2 tablespoon butter and mix it again with a mixer for 10 minute or at least until it is combined..
  5. After it is mix at 3 teaspoon rum slowly to the mixture and then mix it up for 5 minutes.
  6. Then using a ice cream scoop take 2 scoop of the batter and then you put them into the machine and cook it until golden brown or usually I cook it for 10 minutes..

When ready to serve, top each waffle with one or two tablespoons of banana-rum topping and chopped pecans. Remove and store cooked waffles in the warm oven while you repeat with remaining batter. Meanwhile, Make the Caramelized Rum Bananas: In a large sauce pan melt butter with corn syrup over medium heat. Mix the chicken with the RumChata, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix all the waffle ingredients and stir to combine.
