To make Carmel. Combine the sugar , corn syrup in a sausepan . I used a non stick one. Cook stirring until a deep amber color. Remove from heat add butter, cream , vanilla one at a time. Be careful might splatter. When pie is cool. Pour all over the top. ( it makes pretty much. I did not put all my carmel on. I saved the rest of it)..
