I tweaked the recipe a bit. Instead of using barbecue sauce I actually used sweet and sour sauce being that this is supposed to be sweet and sour chicken made more sense. I also used garlic powder instead of minced garlic and it came out perfect! Served with rice it was delicious Reserving one tbsp of cooking oil in the wok, add in the shallots and stir fried till aromatic. Add in the lychees and the sweet and sour sauce.
