1. Beat egg in shallow bowl, then add milk, cream,sugar, salt, vanilla, and cinnamon. mix well with a fork.
2. Melt just enough butter over medium heat, to coat skillet.
3. Dip each slice of bread in egg mixture. coat well but drain off extra egg so its not soggy.
4. Add bread to skillet and cook each side until golden brown..
5. Serve with syrup or powdered sugar...and if you're like us, lotsa butter! mmmm.
