How to Make Perfect My Chunky Guacamole

Delicious, fresh and tasty.

My Chunky Guacamole. Today we're making my favorite chunky guacamole. This is seriously my go-to guacamole recipe for tacos, burrito bowls, salads, or just serving it on the side with chips. And my favorite variation on this classic as of late?

I've copied what I've seen done at Mexican restaurants where I have loved their guacamole, with great success! This is how I make my favorite guacamole! Guacamole can be served not only with tortilla chips, but also with fresh sliced vegetables, such as radishes, cucumber, or celery. You can have My Chunky Guacamole using 9 ingredients and 7 steps. Here is how you cook it.

  3. Prepare 1 of Roma Tomato.
  4. Prepare 2 tsp of Seasoned Salt.
  5. You need 1 clove of Garlic.

My husband just started the 'caveman diet' also know as the paleo diet and we have been eating a lot of avocado. This chunky guacamole recipe is the one that I grew up eating, and the one that my mom still makes. Throughout my childhood, I always thought that everyone made guacamole this way since that was. I will admit it; my chunky guacamole does take a teensy weensy bit more time than my fab quick and easy blender guacamole.

My Chunky Guacamole step by step

  1. Cut and pit 2 of the avocados, then scoop them out of the peel with a spoon. Put them in a medium-sized bowl..
  2. Squeeze the juice of the lime into the bowl..
  3. Using a large grated spoon or a potato masher, mash up the avocados. Remember, this is chunky guacamole, so it doesn't have to be perfect mashed all the way through..
  4. Cut, pit, and scoop the other avocado, then dice it. Now fold the pieces into the guacamole..
  5. Dice the tomato, garlic clove, and half of the onion. (Or all of the onion, if you like a lot of onion.) Now fold the diced veggies into the mix, one at a time..
  6. Mix in the seasoned salt, cumin, and pepper..
  7. Finally, serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!.

But I promise you it is worth it for the superior flavour and texture. While guacamole can never be bad, in Betty's book, this one is extra special thanks to its chunky texture. This chunky version is one of my favorites! The chunky avocados really add a lot of texture to this guacamole especially. My top tips for the perfect chunky guacamole.
