Ingredients of Spaghetti and Meatball Bites

  2. It's 1 lb of ground pork.
  3. It's 5 pieces of white bread, no crust.
  4. It's 2 cups of milk.
  5. Prepare 1 of large onion diced, sautéed.
  6. You need 2 tbsp of minced garlic.
  7. Prepare 1 sprig of rosemary (or 1 tsp dry).
  8. You need 4-5 sprigs of thyme (or 2 tsp dry).
  9. Prepare 4 of eggs.
  10. It's of salt and pepper.
  11. It's of Tomato sauce (Your choice).
  12. Prepare of Dry Bucatini Noodles.
  13. It's of Oil for frying.
  14. You need 1/2 of Parmesan (grated).

Heat a frying pan over a medium heat and add the olive oil. Once hot, fry the meatballs on all sides until nicely coloured, being careful not to burn them. Cook spaghetti in a large pot of boiling salted water, stirring occasionally, until al dente. Using tongs, transfer to pot with sauce.

Spaghetti and Meatball Bites instructions

  1. In a dish, soak your bread in the milk.
  2. In Another bowl mix your beef, pork, onions, eggs, herbs and salt & pepper.
  3. Tear the bread soaked in milk into little pieces and add directly to the meat mixture.
  4. Mix thoroughly. Form into bite sized little meat balls and put in a pan.
  5. Add a little tomato sauce to the meatballs and bake 350° 10/15 mins.
  6. In a pot, heat your oil to around 325..
  7. Cut your dry Bucatini Noodles into toothpick length pieces. Add to hot oil and fry 2 - 3 minutes until crispy.
  8. To serve, line a serving platter with warm tomato sauce, add the meatballs and put a Bucatini skewer in each piece, garnish with parm and parsley!.
