Recipe: Perfect Not so sloppy Joe

Ingredients of Not so sloppy Joe

  1. You need 2 lb of ground beef.
  2. You need 1/2 cup of ketchup.
  3. It's 1/2 cup of brown sugar.
  4. It's 1 tbsp of yellow mustard.
  5. You need 1 medium of onion.
  6. It's 1 of pepper to taste.
  7. You need 1 of garlic powder to taste.
  8. It's 1 of Mrs dash table blend to taste.

My only problem with them was they were so darn sloppy! I would cringe when the boys would pick up a burger bun piled with the meat filling and all that sloppiness would run down. Would like suggestions for a TVP or other meat substitute Sloppy Joe recipe. It's not for a vegetarian/vegan but I want sugar free and of course no meat.

Not so sloppy Joe instructions

  1. Fry ground beef on medium high heat.
  2. Add seasoning.
  3. Dice onion add to beef.
  4. Cook until beef is brown and drain.
  5. Reduce heat to medium add brown sugar ketchup and mustard.
  6. Stir and simmer for min..
  7. Serve on bread bun or dinner roll.
